Jim Skidmore Training

Jim Skidmore conducts regular clinics at CORC for western, reining, hunt seat, horsemanship & equitation, and showmanship.   Clinics include both Open and 4-H classes.  (4-H Classes are at a discounted rate for current participants.)

Jim was a graduate of Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship and was also the head of the Western program at Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center, Waverly, WV.  He owned and operated is own stable in Ocala, FL and has shown and won several Pro Reining, Western Pleasure and Trail competitions.  His students have successfully shown in both NRHA and AQHA events. Jim holds regular clinics at CORC.  Some clinics are open to the public while others are exclusively for current 4-H students.  Hands-on clinic topics include Showmanship, Hunt Seat, Western Pleasure, Equitation and Horsemanship, Trail, Loading and Trailering Horses, and Yearling Training.  Jim is also excellent at solving training issues.

Several clinics will be offered the Winter 2012-2013 season for all 4H aged youth, showing Western or English. Sessions are hands-on, economical and very informative.
