Riding Lessons
We provide riding lessons for all ages and experience levels. At Central Ohio Riding Club, we have three riding instructors who work with each student to achieve their riding goals.
We offer riding lessons for the following riding disciplines:

Pricing
Pay-As-You-Ride Options
The below pricing reflects riding lesson costs for riders who pay for each lesson separately.
1 Hour Group (3-4 Riders): $45 per lesson
1 Hour Semi-Private (2 Riders): $55 per lesson
1 Hour Private: $70 per lesson
½ Hour Private: $45 per lesson
Pre-Paid Options
Riders who pay for a months worth of lessons at the beginning of each month receive discounts (minimum of 4 lessons).
1 Hour Group (3-4 Riders): $40 per lesson
1 Hour Semi-Private (2 Riders): $50 per lesson
1 Hour Private: $65 per lesson
½ Hour Private: $40 per lesson
4-h Options
For children enrolled in Heads Up Heels Down 4-h Club (effective April-July)
1 Hour Group (3-4 Riders): $40 per lesson
1 Hour Semi-Private (2 Riders): $50 per lesson
1 Hour Private: $65 per lesson
½ Hour Private: $40 per lesson
Cancelation Policy
To ensure fairness and consistency, the following policies apply:
Same-Day Cancellations: Lessons canceled the day of are non-refundable and will not be made up.
24-Hour Notice: Lessons canceled at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled or exchanged for a lease ride. Lessons will not be credited to the following month.
Weather-Related Cancellations: Weather-related cancellations are non-refundable. Lessons may be rescheduled based on availability or exchanged for a lease ride for eligible students. Eligible students are those currently enrolled, in good standing, and approved by their instructor. Eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of Central Ohio Riding Club.
No Shows / Late Cancellations: Two consecutive no-shows or repeated last-minute cancellations may result in loss of the scheduled lesson spot.
Payment Policy: Payment is required prior to the lesson. A $5 late fee will be added if payment is not received beforehand.
